Celtic will play PSV or Galatasaray in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League if Ange Postecoglou’s Bhoys overcome Midtjylland.

Celtic host the Danish side at Celtic Park tomorrow night before travelling abroad next Wednesday.

It’s a tough task given the transition at the club this summer and Postecoglou will do very well to guide his side through.

UEFA published Celtic’s squad list for the tie earlier this morning and it doesn’t make for particularly pretty reading.

Midtjylland played in the group stages of the competition last season, demonstrating the standard early on in qualifying.

It doesn’t get any easier in the next round either, even though Celtic were again seeded for today’s draw.

Both PSV and Galatasaray possess qualities that will be difficult for the Bhoys to overcome.

A tough summer just got tougher!

The first leg of the third qualifying round is due to be played on 3rd or 4th August, with the second leg played on 10th August.

The draw for the play-off round will be held on 2nd August.

A further draw takes place for the Europa League later today which will include Celtic in the event we are defeated by Midtjylland.
