Hibernian have confirmed that the upcoming visit of Neil Lennon’s Celtic has been moved from a Saturday afternoon to a Sunday lunchtime kick-off time, via their official website.

Broadcaster Sky Sports have selected the match to be shown live on television, meaning it will now be played on Sunday 5th April at 12pm.

It could be a crucial match in the title race and comes after this month’s international break at the end of March.

It’s also Celtic’s final league fixture before the Scottish Premiership splits into the top and bottom six.

Hibs are one of only three teams to take points off of us in the top-flight this term, making this match potentially one of our most difficult between now and the end of the season.

In fact, we’ve failed to win our last five league encounters at Easter Road. We haven’t won there in the top-flight since 2014.

Our last victory at the venue came in the Scottish Cup last season.

We have had success against them this season elsewhere, thrashing them 5-2 in the Scottish League Cup semi-final at Hampden and winning 2-0 at Celtic Park.

With Celtic kicking into a new, relentless gear of late we’ll still make the trip to Edinburgh with some confidence of picking up all three points.

Hopefully, we manage to overcome our setbacks there in recent seasons and give travelling supporters something to cheer about in the early Sunday kick-off.
