Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon has been appointed manager of Cypriot side Omonoia Nicosia, it has been confirmed this evening.
The club have announced the news on their official website.
Lennon has signed a contract until the summer of 2024, giving him time to really make his mark abroad.

It comes after more than a year out of management following his exit from Celtic. He left the Bhoys with a damaged reputation and has spoken of his desire to get back into the dugout in recent months.
His move abroad is pretty surprising given his strong association with football in Scotland and England but he has also admitted over the last year he would be willing to move countries for the right opportunity.
He clearly feels this is right for him.
The Cypriot side are well set up for success having won the title last season. However, a dreadful 2021/22 season leaves them with a rebuilding job to do.
Lennon will have a high ceiling with which to improve them, just like when he arrived at Easter Road to manage HIbernian.
After things ended badly in Glasgow, he’ll be desperate to prove he can still be a success. If he can do a good job outside of his comfort zone in Cyprus then he’ll be well placed for bigger jobs down the line.
