After a relatively slow start, Celtic’s January transfer window business seems to be up and running. At the moment, it about players who are leaving the club.
Scott Sinclair left the Hoops to join Preston North End, whilst the BBC reported that Lewis Morgan is in talks to join MLS side Inter Miami.
Should Morgan complete his move to Miami, that means that two left-sided players will have left Celtic in under a week.
Hoops could be on look-out for left-sided player

That could mean that the Hoops are on the lookout for a new left-sided player. Luckily for Neil Lennon, the solution might be already at the club.
Mohamed Elyounoussi is a left-sided player, and until his foot injury he was one of Celtic’s best players of the season. He was in excellent form, and it can’t be denied that the Hoops have missed his skills.
Now, some might think it is a bit of a stretch in suggesting that Elyounoussi, who is on loan from Southampton will automatically be signed to replace the duo who could be leaving.
Club reportedly told how much player would cost

However, it should be remembered that the Daily Record recently reported that Southampton want £9 million for the player. A sum of money that Celtic arguably can afford to pay.
So, perhaps it is not outlandish to predict that the departures of Sinclair and Morgan could lead to the permanent signing of Elyounoussi.
That might not be until the summer though. As Elyounoussi is going to be at the club until the end of the season, there is no need for the Hoops to rush into any deals.
However, should he play a key role in helping the Hoops win the title when he returns from injury, then the demand will be there from the Celtic support to make the deal a permanent one. The departures of Sinclair and Morgan could lead to that permanent arrival.
