Craig Bellamy has been one of the most talked about names surrounding the Celtic job.
Brendan Rodgers’ shock resignation paved the way for the return of Martin O’Neill which, for now, is on an interim basis.
That could change if results keep going the way that they are, with a 4-0 win against Falkirk and 3-1 defeat of Rangers at Hampden marking a perfect start for O’Neill.
But Bellamy, one of his former Celtic players, is subject to interest from the club. O’Neill has heaped praise on the ‘exceptional’ job that he has done at the Welsh national team.
But with Wales still firmly in contention to qualify for next summer’s World Cup, Bellamy has made his stance on moving absolutely clear.
Wales manager Craig Bellamy reveals stance on Celtic links
The 46-year-old got off to an excellent start in charge of his country, losing none of his first nine games in charge.
Given this, his style of play and his history as a Celtic player, his links to the Parkhead hotseat are understandable.

Bellamy admitted as much at his Wales press conference, as he prepares for their crucial two upcoming qualifiers against Liechtenstein and North Macedonia.
Bellamy said: “”I can understand the links. I played there. But to me, I love what I’m doing at the present time.
“I’m completely focused on what’s set to come. That’s all I’m focused on. It’s cliched but I couldn’t want anything else. It isn’t on my radar and it won’t be on my radar.”
67 Hail Hail reported that Bellamy hadn’t applied for the role at Celtic Park, but the Hoops’ interest in him persisted.
But given that he is just over a year into his contract managing his country, his stance is understandable.
For Celtic, the search goes on for another candidate – this search could well end up with the man who signed Bellamy, and is currently in the dugout on an interim basis.
Kieran McKenna, Robbie Keane and Wilfried Nancy are the other names being bandied about.
