Moore shared that he was recently in Australia to watch the Melbourne derby, and he so happened to be in the same box as Postecoglou and Kevin Muscat.
Given that all three have a connection to Glasgow, the topic of Celtic had to be brought up, and Moore shared that Postecoglou explained how much he ‘loved his time at Celtic.’
Speaking on Go Radio, Moore added that Celtic’s Treble-winning coach has ‘a great fondness’ for the Hoops, and how he was ‘very successful.’
Paul Cooney: “You bumped into, I think, in Australia, Ange Postecoglou.”
Moore: “Yeah, I did. I went to the Melbourne derby in Australia. I was in the box with Ange Postecoglou and Kevin Muscat. That was good. We enjoyed a game there. I had a good opportunity to speak with both of them.
“Ange, obviously, talking about how much he loved his time at Celtic. Potentially jumping in too soon into Nottingham Forest.”
Cooney: “Is that the Greek connection, do you think? With the owner Evangelos Marinakis?”
Moore: “Listen, all coaches have huge belief in themselves. They think they can turn things around. In hindsight, he said, ‘I should have taken a little bit more time.'”
Cooney: “I know you would ask him, the question, ‘Ange, would you come back to Celtic after Martin O’Neill’s spell?’ That will be the question, as the season goes on. Would Ange come back?”
Moore: “I didn’t ask the question, to be honest. Sometimes, your great memories and great achievements are better left. Coming back, it can throw up different problems.
“What I do know is he has a great fondness for the football club. He loved Glasgow. Unfortunately, for me, he was very successful.”

It could be argued that Postecoglou’s reign at Celtic was perhaps the most entertaining of any coach in recent times.
Nobody will top what O’Neill did for the football club, and Brendan Rodgers won Trebles for fun, including winning four trophies in his second spell.
But maybe, just maybe, it could be argued that from a purely entertainment value, nothing topped what Ange brought to the table.
