His reaction came after broadcaster Premier Sports shared a unique angle of his strike to grant Celtic the lead on the hour mark after pickpocketing Leon Balogun before racing in to fire beyond Jack Butland.
Maeda became the scourge of the Englishman over the course, with the Rangers stopper also powerless to stop his driven penalty to put the ribbons on the trophy.
