Manager Neil Lennon reckons Celtic winger Daniel Arzani is closing in on a return to the first-team squad, The Scottish Sun report.
Arzani has been missing from action even since suffering a horror ACL injury on his Celtic debut last October.
He’s had a long road to recovery but it appears his hard work could pay off with a return to the Hoops squad.
First he needs to prove his fitness and Lennon plans to utilise him in a reserves shortly.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he explained: “Daniel’s nearly fit.
“He will get 40 minutes in that and needs match fitness before coming into the squad.”

What can we expect from the Australian?
Arzani must continue to be considered a work in progress in terms of his fitness and even his ability.
His lack of senior professional experience prior to joining Celtic is notable. It’s unlikely he’s going to smash his way into the team and take Scottish football by storm.
It’s important to remember he is not included in our UEFA Europa League squad. Any appearances will be made in domestic action.
It’s fair to say he arrived at the club with a bit of hype and despite injury, his natural flair is unlikely to have dissipated in the time since.
If he can prove his fitness and get a few appearances under his belt, it might convince the club that he’s worth a loan extension.
Otherwise he might be left counting down the days on a return to Manchester City.
