Read MoreCeltic break silence on David Turnbull rejection reports
If David Turnbull doesn’t want to join Celtic then the club should look elsewhere. The STV are reporting that the 19-year-old has rejected our first contract offer for his services.
They say the club offered the Motherwell man a three-year deal with an option for a fourth. The player and his representatives are said to be keeping their options open with interest south of the border.
Celtic had a reported £2.8million offer accepted for the 15 goal midfielder on Wednesday.

Can’t force it
If Turnbull wishes to exercise his options elsewhere then the club should take a step back. There’s no point in forcing it if he doesn’t want to join.

We need hungry players who are ready to run through brick walls for us next season. Everything is going to be thrown in our way as we hunt another treble and our players will have to be fully committed.
If Turnbull doesn’t feel like he wants to commit to Celtic then we should move on to our next target.

Celtic comment
Pretty remarkably, the club posted an official response on social media with regards to the reports. They say they’ve made the player a “magnificent offer” and that they will “move on” if he chooses not to accept.
Currently, we have been unable to come to an agreement with the player’s agent.#CelticFC is content that it has made a magnificent offer and it is now up to the agent and player to decide if the player wants to join Celtic.
If not, we move on. (2/2)

This one seems like it’s got a bit to go yet.
