Former Celtic manager Davie Hay has given his thoughts on the Celtic goalkeeping situation.
Scott Bain has recently taken over as number one from Craig Gordon.
However, despite a poor performance in the recent loss to Rangers, Gordon is still the man for Hay.

“Gordon is clearly the more experienced and for me, would be my first choice,” Hay told the Evening Times.
“He might take the odd chance with his passing but overall I think he is a vastly experienced goalkeeper who has proved himself at the top level in the game.”
Gordon was heavily criticised by Celtic fans following the defeat at Ibrox.
MORE CELTIC STORIES

Despite pulling off a number of good saves, his distribution was very poor.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers had named Bain as the goalkeeper for cup games.
But for now, it seems that he is the goalkeeper for league game also. The veteran Gordon has lost his place in the Hoops first-team before.

Dorus de Vries was number one for a spell in Rodgers’ first season as Hoops boss.
Gordon eventually won back the gloves, but that could be tougher this time. Bain has not let Celtic down in any of his appearances for the club so far.
Despite this, Davie Hay still believes that Gordon is the man for him.
It will be intriguing to see if the Hoops boss agrees with his viewpoint.
