James Forrest will get his big testimonial moment at Celtic Park at the start of August.
On the very first day of the month, the Hoops winger will be honoured for his services when Athletic Club venture to Glasgow.
Forrest has been associated with Celtic for more than 20 years, joining as a primary school kid, with his professional career spanning 14 years and counting.
Given that, along with the La Liga opposition and the fact it’s likely to be Brendan Rodgers’ first game back at Celtic Park, you may have expected ticket sales to be very strong.
However, a look this morning at the club’s eTicketing website tells a different story.
Only the bottom tier of Celtic Park is currently open, and tickets are very easy to come by, especially in the Lisbon Lions Stand.

The other bottom tiers look relatively busy, but plenty of single tickets are still available.
A rough estimate would maybe put the current sales at around 10-15,000.
Of course, this is less about Forrest and more about the game taking place on a Tuesday evening rather than a weekend.
Standard tickets for the match cost £22 with concessions priced at £14 (Celtic). It’s not a ridiculously high price, but it’s not massively enticing for a friendly match either.

The stadium will hopefully be a lot fuller come kick-off, with many supporters often choosing to leave it late for matches like this that they know won’t sell out.
It would certainly be nice to see the ground as busy as possible for Forrest who has given us all some great memories over a lengthy period.
In other news, Joe Hart seems totally buzzing to be back training with Celtic
