Celtic cult hero Efe Ambrose remains a massive fan of his former Hoops team-mates Fraser Forster. Forster returned to Celtic on a loan deal from Southampton in the summer transfer window.
Ambrose, who played with Forster during Neil Lennon’s first spell as manager, is delighted that the goalkeeper is back at Celtic Park.
“Fraser is incredible, one of the best keepers in Europe” Ambrose said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
“I’m so happy he is back”

“He is a great man and a great keeper. I’m so happy he is back at the club. He looks happy at Celtic. He is smiling and enjoying his football again. It’s great to see.”
Forster was arguably one of the best goalkeepers in Europe during his first spell with the Hoops. His crowning moment was his performance in the now legendary 2-1 win over Barcelona in 2012.
Upcoming fixture possibly his toughest test yet

Thankfully he seems to have recaptured that run of form in his second spell with the club. However, he will face arguably his toughest test yet when the Hoops take on Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday night.
However, the game should hold no fears for Forster. He proved his worth in the first game against the Italian side, with a series of wonderful saves.
Signing Forster – even on a short-term deal – has been one of the success stories of Celtic’s season so far. It remains to be seen if he will be a Celtic player next season. For the moment though, Forster is doing a great job in helping the Hoops make strides this season.
