Izaguirre is welcome back
The departure of both Izaguirre and fellow full-back Mikael Lustig this summer can’t be underestimated. Both had probably had their best days in the Hoops but they were still massive parts of the dressing room.

The pair clocked up 547 appearances between them over extended Parkhead stays. Only Scott Brown and James Forrest can boast more appearances than the pair in the last ten years. In fact, you have to go back to Stiliyan Petrov to find the last former player who appeared more than both.
They’ve both been massive parts of Celtic over our recent years of domination. Both will be viewed positively in the future. Both will be welcome back for the ten-in-a-row party.
