Chris Jullien may have departed Celtic in the summer, but Celtic are still playing a part in his every day life.

That’s if a very recent social media post, featuring a trophy-winning Hoops shirt from last season, is anything to go by.

The defender is now playing for French side Montpellier, and working hard in the gym during the mid-season break.

He posted a video on his Instagram story yesterday alongside a personal trainer who just happened to be wearing last season’s all green away kit.

The kit is most famous with Celtic supporters for last season’s League Cup final victory over Hibernian.

Remarkably, the game was only 11 months ago. A lot has happened since then.

Jullien has been a virtual ever-present for Montpellier since signing in August.

His side have struggled for form lately and currently sit 14th in Ligue 1, just a point above the relegation places.

Maybe, given Celtic are still playing an active role in his life, we’ll see him back at Celtic Park one day.

Given the part he played in his early days in Glasgow, and the memorable goals he scored, he’d get a warm ovation.
