Des Roache slams the SFA for Celtic Park VAR Araujo controversy

In a scary moment for the Mexican defender, Araujo appeared to go in high on Ferry as the Celtic fullback looked to win possession of the ball.

The match referee Nick Walsh and VAR both decided it was a yellow card but former referees Des Roache and Steve Conroy certainly didn’t agree with that.

Both said on The Ref’s View X account, “This is as clear a red card as ever you will see.

“However, SFA sanction these appointees.”
