Read MoreFive reasons why Brendan Rodgers shouldn't leave Celtic for Leicester
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is being linked with a move to Leicester City.
Current gaffer Claude Puel’s job is at risk and the Scottish Sun report that they want Rodgers to replace him.
Plus, Rodgers’ relationship with the board when it comes to transfers isn’t steady.
Perhaps the Northern Irishman will look south in future, but he has too much to lose at Celtic.
Celtic are by far a bigger club than Leicester City
Let’s not beat about the bush, Leicester are smaller than The Hoops when it comes to stature.

Leicester do have the benefit of world exposure in the English Premier League, but even that doesn’t match what he would have at Celtic.
Rodgers has better job security at Celtic
Following two consecutive trebles with Celtic, the 45-year-old is untouchable at the moment.
Furthermore, he will be on a healthy contract and living a relaxing life.
By going down to Leicester, it would be a massive risk and he’d be out a job and unemployed if things went pear shaped.
By staying at Celtic longer and winning titles, his stock will only grow higher and better jobs will come along.
His type of management is perfect for Celtic
Rodgers’ management is about developing young players.
At The Hoops he is being allowed free will to do and with great success with Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor to name a few being helped by the Irishman.

At Leicester, the opportunity will not bring that as it will be more about saving The Foxes from relegation and playing with massive fees for more experienced players.
The chance to make history beckons at Celtic
The Hoops are well on course to do a treble treble with a resurgent Rangers breathing down Rodgers’ neck.
Winning this treble including getting eight-in-a-row will put Celtic on course for 10 consecutive titles.
If the Hoops do that under his leadership then he will enter the upper echelons of legendary status at the club.
The manager will not want to throw that away.
He isn’t ready for Premier League return
The tactical naivety and personnel changes shown at Celtic show that he isn’t yet prepared to return to England.
He’s a top manager but little things still need to be taken away from his management.

His transfer record leaves a lot to be desired with Celtic and previously at Liverpool.
After a few more seasons, these problems will iron themselves out and he’ll be better prepared to go back.
Brendan is a top drawer manager with massive calibre and will move on.
However, fans must live in the moment because he won’t be here forever.
