Former Celtic attacker Oliver Burke’s odd Instagram change

Former Celtic loanee Oliver Burke has deleted all but his Hoops posts on Instagram.

This is prompting opinion that the Scotland international is coming back. It seems that Burke isn’t fancied with West Brom despite the hefty fee paid.

However, the Hoops have bolstered their attack already, would they have him back?

Oliver Burke back to Celtic?

Eagle eyed Celtic fans have noticed the latest social media move by the 22-year-old.

Burke has left a majority of Celtic posts, a Scotland post and another with friends at horse racing.

Has his relationship with parent club West Brom broken down so badly? Is Burke planning another Celtic move in the coming days?

He was on-loan for six months under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon.

Both managers didn’t appear to fancy him that much but he was played as a striker primarily.

That would make it more of a shock if Burke was to come back to Celtic.

He would probably be used as a centre-forward as the team has millions of wingers as Rodgers once said.

This isn’t to rule out anything but there is one big question that would surround a return. Will Celtic pay the big fee or will it be another loan deal?

Celtic are stumping up the cash for Oliver Burke?

It would be hard to believe for Lennon to blow Celtic’s record fee out the park for the £15 million attacker.

This would mean another loan move, but what purpose would it serve? The club have three able strikers and don’t really need another.

However, Lennon could be aiming to have Burke’s versatility back in the squad.

His talents were his variety and his pace which could be useful in Europe. This said, Burke could be heading elsewhere and Celtic was a fond distant memory.
