A former Celtic coach has been unveiled as the new manager of a side playing in Vietnam’s top flight.
Coaches, like players, all move on from Celtic at some point in their career and try their hand at something new.
It is something that Brendan Rodgers has done himself before returning to Parkhead.
Every coach has ambitions of becoming a manager and that is what one previous member of Rodgers’ backroom staff has done.
Harry Kewell lands new job in Vietnam
Harry Kewell was once a part of Rodgers’ coaching team at Celtic, but will now be plying his trade in Vietnam.
Kewell spent 18 months at the club after being appointed as an attacking coach by Ange Postecoglou.
He left in 2023 after becoming the manager of Notts County and was most recently head coach at Yokohama Marinos – where Daizen Maeda used to play.

Yokohama sacked him in July 2024 after seven months at the job, but he has now found a new role after being appointed by Hanoi FC.
Their club statement even referenced his time with the Hoops.
When is Harry Kewell’s first game as Hanoi manager?
Kewell became well aware of the pressure at Celtic while working for the club, but now he faces a whole new type of it in his new role.
He will have time to work with his new side due to the international break, meaning that their first game won’t be until 18 October.
As it stands, Hanoi are sixth in the 14-team league and the Australian will be expected to get them back up the table.
