A former Celtic duo will depart their jobs at the end of the season with the news of the Open Goal FC venture coming to a close.
The ambitious podcast will finish their partnership with Broomhill FC after just a single season, according to the Daily Record.
Open Goal Broomhill FC currently sit 11th in the Lowland League with 45 points from 31 matches. They are 21 points behind Celtic B who sit in third.
Open Goal are managed by podcast host, and former Celt, Si Ferry while another ex-Celtic man Paul Slane is assistant manager.
The pair will depart their jobs at the end of the season after what is being described as an “amicable” split.
The playing staff, which also includes ex-Celt Ryan Conroy, were told about the news on Tuesday evening.
No further details are known about the split, but they will surely come out as time goes on.
Who knows what will happen next for Ferry and Slane, who have interviewed Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou on multiple occasions over the past 18 months.
Celtic fans can still hold on to an interest in the Lowland League, with Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea’s side next in action against Rangers B at Ibrox on April 2.
