Former Celtic loanee Charly Musonda has made his first professional start in over four years as he looks to bring his injury nightmare to an end.
The midfielder was once regarded as one of the most highly-rated talents in the English Premier League whilst coming through the Chelsea academy.
He went on to make around seven appearances for the club, as well as having several spells out on loan in Spain and Holland.

In 2018, Musonda made the move to Parkhead, joining Brendan Rodgers side on an 18-month loan and leaving supporters excited to see what he could offer in Glasgow.
After a somewhat bright start, which included his contribution in a 1-0 win over Zenit, it was ultimately a disappointing spell for the Belgian at Celtic.
Making just eight appearances, his loan stay was cut short after just six months in the summer, and he headed back to the English Premier League giants.
Ever since his short stay at Celtic Park came to an end, it has been an extremely frustrating time for Musonda in football.
On his next loan spell at Eredivisie side Vitesse, the attacking midfielder suffered a posterior cruciate ligament injury, which has led to him missing the last few years.

Musonda makes first professional start in four years as he looks to put injury nightmare behind him.
However, incredibly Musonda has slowly started returning to playing, and he began to feature for Chelsea’s under-23s side in the English Premier League 2.
Last summer, he was unfortunately released by the two-time Champions League winners. However, he didn’t let that affect his return progress.
This season, he signed for Spanish second-tier side Levante and has come off the bench on five occasions in the league for his new team.
On Tuesday evening, Musonda achieved a landmark moment after an extremely difficult few years as he made his first start in professional football for over four years.
The former Celtic loanee played 68 minutes in the Copa Del Rey, as Levante came out 3-2 winners against La Liga side Getafe.

It was a proud moment for Musonda, who has had to battle a whole host of injury issues in recent times, and he celebrated the landmark on his Instagram story.
You can only imagine how much the last few years of setbacks have taken out of him. So it is admirable to see the incredible recovery he has made to get to this point.
Although it never worked out for the midfielder at Parkhead, it is never nice to see a talented young player suffer from such bad injury issues.
So here is hoping he can steer clear of any more problems in the near future and go on to make more appearances from the start in Spain!
