Former Celtic man Charly Musonda looks like missing the rest of the season, if a number of reports are to be believed.
The Chelsea man hasn’t featured for his loan side Vitesse since the middle of August. He was understood to be out with a knee injury that didn’t seem too serious, however now it seems like he could miss the rest of the 2019/2020 season.

The Dutch club posted an update on the 22-year-old on Monday saying that their “technical staff” do not expect Musonda back this season. They say that Musonda has travelled back to London and it is not even clear whether he will return to the Eredivisie side.
Musonda always looked decent enough at Celtic
The Belgian youngster has had a real tough time of it lately with injuries and bad form curtailing what looked like a promising career not so long ago. Big things were expected of him when arrived in Glasgow in early 2018 but he never hit it off – making just eight first-team appearances under Brendan Rodgers.

He struggled badly with injuries last term too but was starting to make inroads into the Vitesse team before his latest setback.
He always seemed a pretty likeable kid who wanted to give his all for the team. Hopefully he can get over his latest horror injury as soon as possible and try to get back to doing what he does best.
