Joe Ledley has posted a message on social media, hinting that he’s about to find a new club.
The 32-year-old Welshman was released from Derby at the end of the season, and there has been speculation about him making a return to Celtic to link back up with Neil Lennon.

Ledley played under the Northern Irishman between 2010 and 2014 – winning three league titles and a Scottish Cup. There have been no concrete reports of interest from the Hoops but the midfielder’s latest post could arouse suspicion.
Ledley was clearly having a bit of fun with his Twitter followers as he snapped an image of a departures board at an unknown airport.

He tagged his agency Avid Sports, further adding fuel to the fire. And to top things off, Glasgow was one of the potential destinations, along with Zurich – near where Celtic are currently based.
Celtic don’t need Ledley
Of course, there could be a very innocent explanation to all of Ledley’s chat. He could simply be going on a summer holiday and wanting to have a bit of fun with his followers. Or he could just be signing for a team that isn’t Celtic.

Let’s face it, the chances of us signing the former Cardiff City midfielder are pretty slim. He’s had his time at the club, and left to pursue a career down south. He’s approaching the twilight of his career now and wouldn’t offer us as much as he did previously.
He’s also not really needed. We’re well suited for central-midfielders at present and bringing in too many more would be needless.
