Former Celtic winger Lewis Morgan could be set for a return to the UK after attracting interest from English Championship clubs.
The 25-year-old spent two years at Parkhead, joining under ex-Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers in 2018.
After signing for the club in the January of that year, the Scottish attacker was quickly sent back on loan to St Mirren, where the Bhoys had signed him from and the place his career had kick-started as a young player.

Upon his return to Celtic the following season, the winger featured 13 times under Rodgers in Scottish Premiership, league cup and European action, with the majority of his appearances coming off the bench.
In January of 2019, Morgan was once again sent out on loan, joining up with his former St Mirren boss Jack Ross at Sunderland.
His most prominent spell as a first-team player at Celtic came in the 2019/20 campaign, in which Neil Lennon had taken charge of the Bhoys.
Lennon appeared to be a fan of the Scotland internationalist, playing him in wide areas and also as a striker when the Hoops faced injury issues to Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths.
Morgan started in the Europa League victory over Rennes, scoring in a 3-1 win, before also being given the nod to lead the line in the 2019 BetFred Cup final against Rangers.
Shortly after his spell as a forward in Lennon’s side, Morgan was moved on in the January window, making a surprise permanent move to the MLS with Inter Miami.

The former Celtic man took to the US extremely well, becoming a key player for Inter Miami and scoring some fantastic goals during his spell at the club.
His performances in the MLS even led to Morgan completing a move at the beginning of 2022, joining New York Red Bulls and has proved a hit for his new side, scoring 11 goals in 24 league appearances.
According to 90min.com, Lewis Morgan’s form in the US has also began to attract interest from sides in Europe, particularly in the English Championship.
The winger has been subject to rejected bids from both Huddersfield and Millwall as clubs in the English second-tier look to bring Morgan back to the UK.
The report states that the versatile attacker would be open to a move back closer to home, and there remains ‘substantial interest’ in signing him up for the season ahead.

Morgan will return to the UK a completely different player.
Although things might not have worked out for Morgan with Celtic, and it might have been the case that the player was never likely to make it at Parkhead, it is good to see how he has rejuvenated his career.
He has gone over to the US and continued his development as a player, becoming one of the better performers in that league.
It should be interesting to see if he can bring his form from the MLS back to the UK, with a move to the English Championship looking likely this summer.
