Celtic announced yesterday that striker Leigh Griffiths is returning to training.
This is fantastic news in more ways than one for the fan favourite.
Here are four reasons why having the Scotland international back is fantastic news for The Bhoys.
Extra option for a striker
The Hoops have been light in the striker department this season with only Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard sharing the one spot.

Vakoun Issouf Bayo was bought in January but has only played three minutes of football.
With the 28-year-old back, he will offer Neil Lennon another option in attack and with over 100 goals, who would turn their nose up at that?
Oliver Burke can be a winger again
Since his arrival, Brendan Rodgers and Lennon have both turned Burke into a makeshift forward.
The 21-year old has the physical traits and loves winning the ball but he doesn’t have the first touch or finish required to be a striker.
However, he will have his work cut out trying to oust James Forrest and Scott Sinclair.
He will inspire others in his position
The ex-Hibs and Wolves striker hasn’t been on the football field for three months battling with personal issues.

Although he is still battling his demons, his progress will inspire people who are facing similar problems.
Griffiths said: “The Celtic supporters, too, have been a huge source of inspiration and strength for me and I want to thank them all sincerely for staying with me.”
Edouard can benefit from competition
The Frenchman has been going through dry spells since Griffiths took his sabbatical from football.
He has scored five goals since his absence but did get the all important late winner against Dundee.

With another rapid fire scorer becoming available, perhaps Edouard will see the threat to the team Griffiths poses.
Thankfully, the goal machine is recovering but will be still short of match fitness.
Hopefully, under Lennon’s guidance, he can return to the striker that the Irishman bought in 2014.
