Celtic’s preparations for the 2025/26 season are now well underway.

Brendan Rodgers has made six signings thus far and watched 22 players get plenty of minutes in the tank against Queen’s Park on Friday.

That was Celtic’s first pre-season friendly game of the summer as Johnny Kenny’s excellent finish gave the Hoops a 1-0 win in Mount Florida.

Before that on Friday morning, a number of stars who did not feature in the matchday squad at The City Stadium trained at Lennoxtown, as captured in Celtic’s latest training video.

Here’s what 67 Hail Hail noticed from the clips.

Marco Tilio reports for Celtic duty

Celtic outcast Marco Tilio ended the 2024/25 season on a high with Melbourne City as they won the A-League Grand Finals in May.

He’s back at Lennoxtown and was put through his paces under the watchful eye of John Kennedy. It’s extremely likely Tilio will leave Celtic again this summer, perhaps for good.

Kieran Tierney is back and ready

When Celtic released their first pre-season training video last week, fans asked in the comments for Kieran Tierney footage.

Well, their wish has been granted as Tierney was spotted taking part in the afternoon session both inside the gym and outside on the grass.

Benjamin Nygren impresses

Benjamin Nygren was seen in training action for the first time as a Celtic player, and it’s safe to say the Swedish attacker has skill.

The £2m signing was shown taking part in a drill that involved first time finishing into a small net and one of his efforts was a lovely effort with the outside of his foot. Sumptuous.

Welcome to Scotland, Hayato Inamura

Hayato Inamura is Celtic’s most recent addition to the squad, but Brendan Rodgers has stressed he is a player for the future, not the present.

Inamura was seen warming up with Tierney amidst the windy and rainy conditions. You could see Inamura smiling in the horrible conditions. Welcome to Glasgow, Hayato!
