Fraser Forster might have been gone from Celtic for a number of years. But since his return to the club, he has remained impressed by Hoops boss Neil Lennon.
Lennon was Forster’s manager during his first spell at Celtic, and he has nothing but admiration for what he has achieved in both his spells as Celtic boss.
Forster also made the claim that Lennon is as good a manager as former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers.
“He’s brilliant”

“For me, the manager was brilliant the first time, and he’s brilliant for me the second time” he said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
“You can’t really argue with his record as manager when he was here first time. Brendan Rodgers was fantastic as well – but Neil is a top manager also, and he knows how to get the best out of the players.”
Lennon’s record during his first spell at Celtic was impressive. He led the Hoops to three league titles in that time. Forster played a key role in helping the Hoops win those trophies.
It is intriguing that he mentions the fact that Lennon knows how to get the best of the players. That didn’t look to be the case at times last season. The Hoops seemed to labour their way through performances.
Masterminded a recent notable victory

For the most part, that has changed this season. Lennon masterminded a 2-0 win over Rangers in the last league game, and has the Hoops clear at the top of the league.
The fact that Lennon has immediately established Forster as his number one goalkeeper shows that he has faith in the player. The player obviously seems to have faith in the manager as well.
