Former Celtic striker Gary Hooper has put out a come get me tweet on social media.
This comes just over a week after manager Neil Lennon claims he wants another centre-forward at the club.
However, with Hooper older a lesser player than the one who left, perhaps it isn’t a good idea.
This said, if Lennon has plans for a third striker then maybe the Englishman is the right way to go.
Gary Hooper wants Celtic return
The 31-year-old retweeted a fan calling for the former number 88 to come back to Parkhead.
In his first first spell, Hooper scored 82 goals in all competitions.
He was the striker everyone called for at the time and Lennon did a fantastic job finding him.
The former Scunthorpe man became a fan favourite scoring many important goals against Rangers and in Europe.

Fans believe he was on the cusp of an England call-up and perhaps he departed The Bhoys too early.
Since he left, Hooper has only managed 51 goals with Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday.
He hasn’t been close to selection for his national team since.
However, there’s a chance Hooper is realising the grass isn’t greener after leaving Celtic.

A lot of players are the same and he won’t be the last, but is the move this summer the right one?
Does Gary Hooper fit current Celtic profile?
The Hoops already have three strikers on the books at the moment.
Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and January signing Vakoun Bayo are battling it out for the one spot.
Unfortunately, the Scot is battling personal issues and Bayo is injured.

So far, it’s just been the £9 million Frenchman that Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon are able to call on.
If Hooper came to Celtic he would open up different opportunities to the new manager.
If he is anything like his old profile, then he will still have his uses as he is different to Edouard.
However, he is on the wrong side of 30 and would only be used sparingly.
If this is explained to Hooper, then perhaps he will think again about moving north.
