It was a shattering evening of football but the celebrations for supporters at full-time made it all worthwhile. Defender Anthony Ralston made sure the Celtic players celebrated with fans on the whistle.
Credit goes to Rangers captain James Tavernier who forced his teammates to watch the ceremony as their rivals hoisted the silverware above their heads.
But Gers punters did not return the favour to their own squad as they left Hampden Park before the medals were handed out.
That is where Celtic TV’s resident host and commentator, Gerry McCulloch, chimed in with an incredible dig at the Light Blues fans who had exited the stadium to avoid having to sit through more misery.

And McCulloch mocked them with a perfect piece of commentary.
As Tavernier and co. were collecting yet another runners up medal, Gerry chuckled on Celtic TV at full-time: “It’s good to see, as the Rangers players go up, that the supporters have waited behind to cheer them.
“They’re all dressed as seats now.”
It was the perfect wording to sum up the reaction to the result from McCulloch and fans were quick to applaud the commentator’s wit.
One fan wrote: “That is fantastic,” as another laughed: “Awww did they not wait to see them get their wee badges? Diddums”.
McCulloch, though, was not the only one to troll Rangers after the full-time whistle.
