If you ever want to gauge how the Celtic players feel about beating our closest rivals take a little trip over to Instagram and you will see it.

Joe Hart posted a superb picture of himself making a fingertip stretch save with the caption ‘Into the final we go.’

The big Englishman was superb in goal today and made a key second-half save from Scott Arfield to keep Celtic’s 1-0 lead intact. He also showed his true leadership qualities when he held Alfredo Morelos to account for his goal-line challenge on Cameron Carter-Vickers. The goalie absolutely played his part in this afternoon’s win.

And then there was Matt O’Riley. The Danish u21 international kept it simple and cheeky with a three-word ‘That was fun’ post that not many Celtic fans will argue with.

O’Riley had a hand in the Jota opener when he claimed a foul on the edge of the Rangers box that seemed to bamboozle our opponents. As the players waited for a whistle that never came, Daizen Maeda stole the ball for a lovely chip into the path of Jota and the rest, as they say, is history.

And amongst the first to respond to his Instagram upload were former teammates Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic as both sent replies to Matt O’Riley, making it clear they enjoyed the victory too.

Kyogo’s updated his page as well, posting a passionate picture of his celebration at the full-time whistle with the caption: “What it means!”

Jota, meanwhile, uploaded a picture of his latest iconic goal celebration with a simple “Futebol” captain. He remains the most stylish goalscorer around!

Celtic now play Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the final on June 3rd as Ange Postecoglou bids to bring home a world record eighth domestic treble to Celtic Park.
