Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon enjoyed what he witnessed from Ange Postecoglou and his team on Wednesday night, claiming that Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be in hiding this week.
Celtic thrashed city rivals Rangers in front of a packed Paradise earlier this week, blowing them away before the half-time whistle had even come.
For Lennon, it was wonderful to witness.

He told talkSPORT this afternoon [14:30]: “Managing was a great privilege. I played, captained, coached and then managed the club twice. They were the best years of my life. It is 24/7, there’s no question of that, but it’s everything you dream of.
“I knew exactly what Ange was going through on Wednesday night because it was an amazing first half performance.
“Psychologically the momentum is with Celtic at the minute. Gio will be sitting in a dark room for a couple of days scared to pop his head out.”
Meanwhile, Lennon has declared interest in the vacant Sunderland job, telling the radio station he has the itch to manage again.
He said: “I’m only 50 and I’ve still got the hunger. I don’t want to talk myself up but I still feel there’s plenty to offer.
“It’s a big club with a fantastic fanbase. They’re in a reasonably good position in the league, so that would definitely be one I’d be interested in.”
Despite what happened at Celtic last season, I do want Lennon to find a club he is comfortable with and can find success at. Whether it’s Sunderland, or somewhere else, hopefully he’s on the touchline again sometime soon.
In other news, Postecoglou shares what Celtic fans haven’t seen from Reo Hatate yet and it could be special.
