Josip Juranovic has claimed that Glasgow will “always be green and white” after watching his Celtic teammates secure the Premiership title.
Last night’s championship success at Tannadice means that the Hoops have won 10 of the last 11 title races in Scotland.
And Juranovic was keen to let everyone know who really bosses Glasgow after winning the league back at the first time of asking:
Juranovic unfortunately wasn’t a part of the game against Dundee United last night. However, he was right in the middle of the celebrations post-match.
Josip has been a huge contributor to the campaign since his move from Legia Warsaw in the summer. Undoubtedly our first-choice right-back, he’s made 44 appearances this season alone [Transfermarkt].
The Croatian international could be involved against Motherwell on Saturday. But it remains to be seen if Ange Postecoglou will risk him.

Josip Juranovic Insta message captures the feelings of the Celtic support
Got to love this from Juranovic. The sheer confidence of it and the fact it’s a message many Celtic supporters will be feeling right now shows how in touch he is with things here.
He’s one of those players that arrives and instantly “gets it” as they say. He knows how important it is for us to have dominance over our rivals in Glasgow. Nothing symbolises that more than a league championship win either.
It’s imperative these players simply enjoy the moment and soak it all in. This is their first league title together and so much hard work and energy has been put into achieving it.
The likes of Juranovic may have won leagues elsewhere. But he won’t have felt anything like the love and affection the Celtic support will have for him in Glasgow. These players have become absolute icons this year with what they’ve done.
Let’s not also forget that our championship win means that it’s a league and cup double for the club this term. Who had that down at the start of the season?
