Celtic have received some good news as Kristoffer Ajer has all but confirmed that he doesn’t see himself leaving Celtic anytime soon.
The Hoops centre-back made the revelation during an interview in Norway.
“I play in one of the world’s biggest clubs, play at Celtic Park and have great ambitions with Celtic” he said, as reported by TV2.

“I’m incredibly happy”
“I have a three-year deal, so there is no stress at all. I’m incredibly happy” he continued.
Ajer’s comments will come as a relief to the Hoops support. His form has been so good this season that clubs were bound to have expressed an interest in the player.

Thankfully he seems very committed to the Celtic cause.
Key man for Champions League qualifiers
Ajer will be a key man for the Hoops in the Champions League qualifiers which begin next month. He and Jozo Simunovic will be tasked with getting the Hoops through four qualifying rounds to the lucrative group stages.

So well have the duo been performing for the Hoops that fans will be confident that Celtic can reach the group stages with the pair in defence.
There is no doubt that in the future clubs will be interested in Ajer. His form for the Hoops must have attracted some attention.
However, as his comments show for now he is committed to the club. And that is all anyone can ask for.
