The Celtic fans group the Green Brigade have criticised the people they believe are putting the Hoops’ quest for 10 in a row in danger.
The supporters displayed banners criticising the Hoops board before the Betfred Cup tie against Dunfermline, as reported by the Daily Record.
“This is how it feels to be Celtic, downsizing again as you know. The Celtic board are gambling 10-in-a-row” were the words written on the banner.
Fans understandably frustrated

It is understandable to see where the fans’ frustrations are coming from. Celtic do seem to have struggled to make signings this summer. Coupled with the departure of fans favourite Kieran Tierney, it is no shock that the loss to Cluj has provoked such feeling.
The unconvincing nature of the 2-1 Betfred Cup win over Dunfermline won’t have made the support feel any better about the club’s situation.
Quality additions could make difference to team

The Celtic support will be hoping that a few quality signings are made before the end of the transfer window.
It would be a boost to everyone at the club. It would also make it much easier for the Hoops to retain the league title.
This might not have been the best of weeks for Celtic. The loss to Cluj made sure of that. However, there is still plenty of time to remedy the situation. It will be down to the Celtic board to do so.
