Greg Taylor has found it difficult to get into the Celtic starting line-up since joining the club from Kilmarnock on transfer deadline day. The Hoops left-back has made only two apperances for the club in that time.
However, the lack of game time has not got the player down. Indeed, he has managed to find positives in his situation.
“Of course every player wants to come into a new club and play every minute” he said, as reported by the Daily Record.
“I’m ready”

“But there’s a settling-in process and the two months I have been out the team will probably benefit me in the long run. I’m now up to speed, I understand the way of playing and hopefully I’m ready to take my chance and become a regular” he continued.
Taylor’s attitude could have been poor after being on the sidelines for so long. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case at all. He sees to have been using his time at the club to get used to playing for the Hoops, and the style of play that Neil Lennon wants to implement.
Manager will be impressed with player’s attitude

That will have impressed Lennon and all at Celtic. Taylor is a player who is a Scotland international, but still feels he has much to learn in the game. That could stand him in good stead in the years to come at Celtic Park.
He has to wait for his opportunity. However, now it looks like he could get a run in the team due to Jonny Hayes and Boli Bolingoli’s injury problems.
Should Taylor start against Rennes in the Europa League, it will be the biggest test of his Celtic career so far. However, the player sounds like he won’t be concerned by making his European debut for the Hoops. Indeed, he sounds like he will revel in the situation.
