Neil Lennon has confirmed that recent Celtic signing Greg Taylor could be in line to make his debut in Sunday’s Premiership fixture against Kilmarnock.
Taylor, who joined from the Ayrshire outfit earlier this month, hasn’t been in the matchday squad for either of our two recent matches. However, with Boli Bolingoli likely to miss Sunday’s match, he could be in line to make his first appearance.
Lennon confirmed that the Scotland international was in his thoughts ahead of the game.
🗣 NL: “@GregGregtaylor is in contention. He’ll be ready to play when called upon.”

It makes sense to hand Taylor debut on Sunday
The 21-year-old is probably itching to get his first appearance for his new club, so why not give him it against his old employers?
Taylor will be familiar with the strengths of the Killie team and that is likely to help Celtic out. Also giving him his debut at home seems more natural than having to do it on the road, if you have the choice.
Jonny Hayes came on in Rennes and did fine but surely our £3million signing who actually plays the position naturally should get the nod.
Big things are expected of Taylor but it will be interesting to see how he competes with Bolingoli.
The Belgian has definitely improved in recent weeks but he was still caught out on a couple of occasions in Brittany. Taylor may be a more reliable option in European competition. And with Cluj coming up in less than a fortnight, Sunday may be an ideal chance to get the new recruit bedded in.
