Celtic’s pursuit of Greg Taylor seemed to last forever. The left-back was on the club’s radar for weeks. The move was finally completed through on the last day of the transfer window.
Taylor signed a four-year deal with the Hoops. The player could be the long-term successor at the club to Kieran Tierney.
That is the future though, and for now the player is just pleased that he deal has finally gone through.
“Over the moon”

“It’s been a whirlwind of a day but I’m over the moon to be here and thankfully that’s it over the line” he said in a video appearing on Celtic’s YouTube channel.
“As soon as I knew of the interest, I was desperate to come, so it’s been a great day, certainly now that it’s done.”
All at Celtic will be hoping that the protracted negotiations for the player were worth it, and he goes on to be a huge success at the club.
One interesting thing to look at involving Taylor, is the number of games he has played for his now former club Kilmarnock.
Played a lot of games in a short period

He made 131 first-team appearances for Killie in his time at Rugby Park. That is a lot of football for a player who is just 21.
It is also a good sign for Celtic though, as it shows that he does not suffer from many injuries.
All in all, the signing of Taylor looks to be a good one by the Scottish champions. Hopefully the player becomes a Celtic mainstay for many years to come.
