Greg Taylor says he isn’t ruling out a potential return to Celtic one day.
Despite Brendan Rodgers’ public push to keep him, the defender ran down his contract at Celtic Park before agreeing a move to Greece last summer.
The arrival of Kieran Tierney meant that the timing of Taylor’s exit made sense, but as one of the Hoops’ most consistent first-team starters, he was still bound to be missed to some extent.
In over 200 appearances for the Hoops across six years, Taylor won 11 trophies, including two trebles – and he might not be done there.

Greg Taylor on returning to Celtic: ‘I wouldn’t say no to anything’
The 28-year-old was asked on Charlie Mulgrew’s Pitch to Par whether he would consider returning to Scotland, replying: “I think I’d be open to everything.
“I’ve got two years left on my contract in Greece, I’d love to be a success out there.

“But if that didn’t materialise, I’d be open to anything. I’ve moved abroad now, I’ve enjoyed that aspect of it.
“I loved playing in Scotland… so honestly, who knows in a career? You know it can change like that, both ways.
“But I would love to make a success of it in Greece and see where that takes me.”
Quizzed on coming back to Celtic in particular, he continued: “Pfft… yeah, again in football, you never say with anything.
“Celtic’s an amazing club, but I’ve got two years left at PAOK, and I want to make that be a success there.
“But who knows. I would never say no to anything. I would be open to everything.”
Taylor made 18 appearances in his first season in Greece, largely operating as a back-up to first-choice left-back Baba Rahman.
He played his best football at Celtic under Ange Postecoglou in an inverted role. If he were to come back, he’d doubtless have to adapt to a different tactical landscape.
As well as Tierney, Marcelo Saracchi filled the gap last season, but the Uruguayan is yet to be brought back to Glasgow this summer.
