Celtic have lots of key danger-men that could trouble Hamilton. According to Hamilton’s James Keatings, it is James Forrest who Accies need to focus on.
Forrest has grabbed the headlines this week after scoring his first five international goals in two games. This includes the inspiring performance that saw him net a hat-trick against Israel to secure Scotland’s first Euro play-off spot since 2003.
He has guided his nation to the Euro 2020 play-offs, and now has his eyes set on domestic duty. The 27-year old scored four in one game against St Johnstone recently, and it’s these stats that show Forrest is the man Hamilton will want to limit going forward.

Speaking about Forrest to the Daily Record, former Celtic youngster Keatings said: “I played with James, coming through at Celtic, so I know what he’s capable of.
“He is on a hot streak of form just now, he has scored 11 goals in 11 starts recently, so he’s on hot form.
“Jamesie will want to continue that, so it’s up to us to implement our game plan and see if we can stop him.”

Hamilton will struggle with Forrest
Forrest has been one of Brendan Rodgers’ best player so far this season. He’s already in double figures for the season and has been a source of inspiration for the Bhoys this term.
Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie are in impressive form too. Their excellent performances, however, aren’t at the level their Hoops teammate is playing to just now.

Hamilton should be worried about playing against the Scotland hero. Having conceded 18 goals in their last six Premiership outings, Hamilton have showed they are a liability at the back. Forrest will see this as another chance to add to his already impressive goal tally.
The Celtic winger has scored more in his last two games than Hamilton have in their past seven games. If Accies are not careful, they could be on the receiving end of another scintillating Forrest performance.
The 27-year old is in the form of his life. It’s taken a while, but he looks to have finally won over the Parkhead faithful.

Celtic’s trip to Hamilton will provide Forrest with another opportunity to show what he is capable of.
