Hamilton’s SLO clearly took the result quite badly yesterday, as his Twitter activity shows.
The Celtic supporters unveiled a banner that showed outrage at the current ticketing prices in Scottish football at Accies yesterday. This comes after a BBC report proved that supporters can’t go and see a Premiership game for under £20.

Celtic fans showed admirable passion for the current ticketing situation. It comes at a time when supporters are paying more than ever to see their side play.
However, the Hamilton SLO wasn’t having it post-match. After the game, he had a pop at Celtic fans as he missed the mark on the point they were trying to make. He then produced a follow-up post to slam graffiti around the stadium, and ridiculously hinted that things such as that are why ticket prices are so high.

Hamilton SLO’s social media nonsense
He’s also been retweeting other posts having a pop at Celtic for their prices. However, in doing so, he’s totally missing the point the fans are trying to make.
When Celtic fans rocked up at Hamilton, they weren’t having a pop at Accies. They weren’t having a pop at any club in particular. They were clearly attempting to have a dig at Scottish football prices in general.

Many supporters, regardless of where their allegiances lie, would agree with the principle argument of the Hoops fans. It’s aimed at getting ticket prices back down to an affordable standard for the working class.
Hamilton’s SLO showed real bitterness with his posts after the game. It’s clear the result was hurting him more than many. It’s just a shame he couldn’t have kept that anger locked up. He’s made himself look silly, with plenty of supporters calling him out on his posts.

Celtic took a 1-0 win from Accies thanks to a James Forrest effort in the fourth minute. Celtic didn’t create too much on the day, but neither did Hamilton. The Hoops stay three points clear at the top of the Premiership, however, thanks to Rangers’ win at home to Livingston later on in the day.
And as our run to nine-in-a-row continues to pick up momentum, it doesn’t look as though we have the Accies’ liason officer behind us.
