It has been sackings galore in English and Scottish football in recent times.
Celtic and Manchester United stole the headlines on Monday when they parted ways with Wilfried Nancy and Ruben Amorim, respectively, as the Hoops called upon their old guard, again, in Martin O’Neill to save the season.
West Ham United needs saving from itself, as the London club is staring at relegation to the English Championship after almost a decade, given that they are seven points adrift from safety.
Could the Hammers learn from O’Neill at Celtic, and could Harry Redknapp take inspiration from the Irish legend?
Let us know!

Harry Redknapp compares West Ham United’s woes to Martin O’Neill at Celtic
Amid West Ham’s woes, Redknapp used O’Neill as an example, and how, during Celtic’s troubles back in October, he simplified things for the champions of Scotland, and got them back to winning ways.
Redknapp thinks the Hammers might need some of that magic right now, as he also reacted to following in O’Neill’s footsteps and returning to the dugout again.
At the age of 73, O’Neill is the oldest active manager in Britain, but Redknapp would take that crown if he were to take the gig at the London Stadium and try to save his old club from relegation.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the 78-year-old admitted that he would ‘love’ to go into management again, and how he would do it for ‘free.’
Max Rushden: “We have seen an experienced manager in Martin O’Neill going in and helping an old club. If Nuno did get the boot, would you go in and help, or are you waiting for Spurs?”
Redknapp: “No, waiting for Spurs. I would work for nothing. I love it. I would go in anywhere. If someone rang me up, I would go in for nothing. I would enjoy it. It’s not the money. I would enjoy going in and being around the players.
“Martin has gone in there (at Celtic), he knows what he’s doing. He has experience, he knows the game, it’s not rocket science, get the best out of the players you’ve got, get the best out of them.
“In West Ham’s situation, whoever goes in has to get the best out of an average group to be brutally honest.”
