A recent opponent of Celtic starlet Karamoko Dembele was very impressed with the player. Arbroath’s Bobby Linn played against Dembele in a recent friendly.
He thinks that the player has all the ability needed to become a very successful player for the Hoops.
“He can make things happen”

“He’s two-footed and when he gets the ball, he can make things happen in an instant” Linn said, as reported by the Daily Record.
“From a fan’s point of view, he’s a dream to watch.”
Dembele certainly seems to have a bright future with the Hoops. He made his debut as a substitute in Celtic’s last league game of last season, the 2-1 win over Hearts.

Turned in mature performance on debut
On that day, he turned in a performance which was full of maturity. It belied the fact that he is only 16-years-old.
To show how much Dembele is in Celtic’s plans for this season, he was named in the Hoops’ squad for the Champions League.

Obviously Dembele will not start for the Hoops each week. That would be too much to expect of the player. However, there is no reason why he cannot start in Betfred Cup games this season, for example.
With Celtic playing Rennes in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, that could be the ideal game for Dembele to show that he belongs in the first-team.
A good display in that game could lead to more first-team opportunities.
