It certainly hasn’t taken former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou long to make an impact in England.
The Australian has made an incredible start to life at Tottenham Hotspur after his surprise departure from the Hoops following last season’s brilliant treble-winning campaign.
Postecoglou‘s Spurs currently sit top of the Premier League during the second international break of the season. It’s been a pretty remarkable start to the league season that has seen them take 20 points from their first possible 24.
Home wins over Manchester United and Liverpool, and a credible away draw at Arsenal have been part of that. Postecoglou has been the manager of the season so far in that much-hyped league.
As Celtic manager, he once scooped six Manager of the Month awards in succession — the reigning winner from January until October 2022.
And history is repeating itself now as he won back-to-back awards down south. On Friday, Postecoglou was named the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for September, following on from his award in August. (Tottenham Hotspur)

So that’s Postecoglou with two awards already this season. Guardiola, Klopp, Arteta, Howe, ten Hag, De Zerbi, Emery and Pochettino have none between them.
Spurs also have some a decent enough fixture list over the next six weeks or so, so you wouldn’t totally write the Aussie off from making it three in a row.
He’s making it look very easy down south. Not too many Celtic supporters will be surprised about that.
