Celtic’s recent 2-0 win over Hibernian was the Hoops’ six victory in a row since returning from the winter break. It was also the sixth clean sheet in a row for the league leaders.
Perhaps more impressively though, it was the 13th victory from 13 homes games in the league so far this season.
This superb record at home will provide the foundation of propelling Celtic to their eight league title in a row.
If you consider the home form of all the teams in the Premiership, Celtic’s record is by far the best, with 39 points. 10 points more than second placed Rangers have achieved at home.
When you consider that the gap between the teams at the top of the league is six points, that’s quite significant.

It’s a slightly different story when you look at Celtic’s away form, which has been indifferent this season.
The Hoops have picked up 18 points on the road, with only five wins from 12 games. It could be argued that Celtic’s away from has enabled there to be a title race when there shouldn’t be.
Perhaps the away form is finally picking up after the 2-0 win over St Johnstone. That theory will be to the test against Kilmarnock and Hearts later this month.
Back to the home form though, and the Hoops have only six fixtures to play at Celtic Park this season.
Brendan Rodgers and his team will be confident of making it 19 wins from 19 games, and who can blame them.
