Feyenoord fans appear to be losing patience with Robin van Persie after their latest defeat.
Van Persie slammed his players following a disappointing afternoon at De Kuip that saw Feyenoord lose at home to NEC Nijmegen.
Having had the chance to close the gap on league leaders PSV Eindhoven, it was an opportunity wasted while Celtic beat St Mirren to cut Hearts’ lead to four points.
An away trip in Europe is never easy, but it seems that some Feyenoord supporters are less than pleased with the Dutch footballing legend.

Robin van Persie called out by Feyenoord fans
After the loss to Nijmegen, Feyenoord fans came out in full force to criticise their manager for the defeat.
@HarryPater62 wrote: “I’ve been saying for weeks that Van Persie is a tactical ignoramus. I hope more people will start to see it now.”
@19ArnoldB77 commented: “With an inexperienced coach, a poor bench, a lackluster squad, a full infirmary, and a crowd that’s fine with it all, this is what you get.”
