As the Celtic fans celebrate a second successive title, the players will enjoy the night but will return to training on Monday (or maybe Tuesday) to prepare for the final Glasgow Derby of the season.

The win over Hearts was capped off by Hyeongyu Oh after the South Korean slid in and deftly touched home Celtic’s second goal of the afternoon to effectively take the three points and the title back to Paradise.

It was a moment the 1200 fans that managed to get tickets enjoyed and the 22-year-old striker sent them and those watching at home a class message of thanks on Instagram.

I think it’s fair to say that Oh’s had a difficult task breaking into this Celtic side. The relentless form of Kyogo Furuhashi has meant that the youngster has had to kick his heels on the sidelines and wait for his chance.

That’s no easy thing to be asked to do, but today he did his job and executed a perfectly timed crossed ball from Aaron Mooy to calm any nerves that may have been floating around as the clock ticked down.

Oh has scored four goals in sixteen appearances since joining Celtic from Suwon Samsung Bluewings. He has also made an impression on his national manager Jurgen Klinsmann this season after the legendary German striker capped him twice in the last international break.

The South Korean clearly has got a bit about him from what we have seen of him so far. Next season he will need to kick on and look to challenge Kyogo for that number nine slot which won’t be easy to do.
