Former Rangers man Ally McCoist had to put up with a fair share of gloating following Celtic’s 2-1 victory at Hampden on Sunday.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side did their talking on the pitch at the National Stadium as a Kyogo Furuhashi double led the team to yet another trophy.
Ex Ibrox boss McCoist was on co-commentary duties with broadcasters Viaplay Sports. But his pain wasn’t over when Nick Walsh’s full-time whistle went.

He detailed his brutal post-match ordeal to Alan Brazil on talkSPORT Breakfast this morning. (around 6:40)
McCoist: “So the final whistle goes and my job’s not finished yet. I had to get to where the presenters were. My problem is that it’s about 25,30 yards inside the Celtic end.
“Can you imagine my journey down from the commentary box at the end of the game? I had to go through the Celtic end. I got absolute dog’s abuse.
“I went down at the end of the game, and I’m positioned right between big Ange and Gordon Strachan, and Sutton as well to make matters worse.
“There couldn’t have been a worse position in Glasgow than I was at the end of that game, and I’ve got to sit there and take it. You have to go down and take your medicine.”

To make matters worse, McCoist was then the subject of some brilliant patter from Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou.
As seen at the end of this Viaplay video, Postecoglou asks McCoist for a lift back to Celtic Park, in reference to McCoist offering to drive the Aussie down to Leeds recently.
McCoist: “He was in good form. He gave me a bit of stick. He said to me at the end of the interview, ‘That’s me heading over to Parkhead, any chance of a lift?’
“I said, ‘You never got the memo. It’s away from Parkhead that I give you a lift’. He’s done really well.”
