Celtic may be about to offload Jack Hendry on loan this month.
The 24-year-old is likely to leave for English Championship outfit Hull City, according to the Daily Mail. Hendry, who joined from Dundee 18 months ago, is said to be fancied by Hull boss Grant McCann.

The Scotland defender currently finds himself well down the pecking order at Celtic so he’s likely to find the new opportunity an enticing one.
Hendry doesn’t have a future at Celtic
So far this summer, Celtic have streamlined the squad quite neatly. Long-term failures Scott Allan and Marvin Compper have both departed the scene while the likes of Youssouf Mulumbu and Dorus De Vries were also let go.

The squad is in a much better place than it was six months ago. However, there are still a few other players who could do with being moved on – and Hendry is at the top of that list.
For whatever reason, it just hasn’t worked out for the 24-year-old. He’s made just 25 appearances since his £1.5million move, with the final of them coming last October.

He hasn’t exactly performed when called upon but he probably wasn’t helped by Brendan Rodgers either. The Northern Irishman threw Hendry in to precarious situations on a number of occasions. He quite clearly wasn’t ready.
Hendry still has three years to run on his contract so Celtic’s best hope is that he impresses enough in a loan spell for a club to fork out on him.
