Celtic lynchpin James Forrest has had his say on Kieran Tierney’s future. Naturally he wants his team-mate, and one of Celtic’s best players, to stay at the club.
But he, just like everybody else, seems to be fed up with how the saga has lasted for weeks. As yet, we still don’t know if Arsenal will submit a third bid for the player. A situation which is not doing anyone any good at the moment.
“It’s dragged on”

“It’s dragged on, obviously for a good few months, and I don’t think anyone in the squad really knows what’s going to happen” Forrest said, as reported by the Daily Record.
“Obviously, you ask any player here, and we all want him to stay” he concluded.
With the English transfer window closing in the next 48 hours, you would imagine that there will be movement on any deal for Tierney sooner rather than later.
Player hasn’t been affected by speculation

Thankfully so far Tierney has not allowed himself to be affected by the speculation. He is currently continuing his rehab from an injury.
However, should Arsenal return with another offer in the next two days then Celtic may have a decision to make. Unless the offer is what Celtic want for the player, then it should be rejected, and Tierney should be allowed to continue his recovery from injury.
Thankfully for all at the club, the situation should be resolved one way or another soon.
