Joe Hart continues to display the love that he has for Celtic and the fans as the retired goalkeeper speaks passionately once more about the club this week.

A 2021 summer signing, Hart arrived at Celtic having been frozen out at Tottenham Hotspur the previous season.

£1m and three seasons later, the former England international retired to a huge fanfare and Hart admits that the send-off is one of the best things he has ever experienced in his football career.

Hart has ‘never felt’ like he did on Trophy Day

The tribute that the Green Brigade made in the shape of a tifo really was an incredible piece of artwork by the Celtic fans.

And speaking about that moment once more, Hart said the feelings he had were ‘indescribable’.

Hart said [Celtic FC], “That was one of the greatest days in my professional life.

‘I’ve never felt like that and to have that feeling given to me was indescribable.

“I didn’t ask for it, I didn’t want for it. I didn’t expect it. I was blown away, absolutely blown away.

“It’s comfortably one of the greatest days of my professional life. I’m married, I have a family, but even on a personal level it’s one of the greatest days as well.”

That really is quite the admission when you look at what Hart has experienced throughout his whole career.

Winning the Premier League twice with Manchester City as well as the FA Cup and two League Cups gave Hart his first-ever silverware in the game.

The veteran goalkeeper also appeared in World Cups and European Championships with England as he collected 75 international caps.

So it is quite a tribute to the Celtic supporters that Hart has made this claim and will remember that day up there with his weeding day and the birth of his children.
