Joe Hart fell in love with Celtic and his affection for the club seems like it will never be in doubt after he refused to answer a question about Rangers.

Hart was a key part of the Ange Postecoglou era, as well as Brendan Rodgers’ second spell in charge, and became a fan favourite.

The former England international has been spotted back at Parkhead plenty of times in a work capacity but will always remain loyal to the Hoops.

Joe Hart refuses to answer question about Rangers

As one of the players featuring in the 2026 edition of Soccer Aid, Hart sat down with ESPN to answer some quickfire questions.

He was put on the spot by being asked which one of the two options being presented that he would prefer.

Things were going well until he was asked to pick between Manchester United or Rangers but, rather than tarnish his reputation with the Bhoys or Manchester City, he remained loyal and refused to answer.

After being written off by many south of the border, Hart came to Celtic and enjoyed the happy ending that his career deserved.

That has stuck with the Premier League winner, who said after retiring in 2024 that the Bhoys would always be in his heart.

“I’m trying to put into words how proud I am to have played and represented it,” he told Celtic TV.

“I’ve been welcomed – my young family, the way that they’ve been made to feel is really, really special. I’ll be forever grateful and forever a supporter.

“There’s just a lot of love, a lot of love and appreciation and I hope this relationship doesn’t end.

“I want to continue it for as long as I possibly can.”
